Hi, I am Jackie! I live in The Peace Country, BC Canada with my wonderful Husband Greg, and our beautiful daughter Sasha! I work full time as a creative writer for a Radio and Television Station. I have always loved crafts! When I was younger I would make collages from my teen magazines and plaster them all over my bedroom door!
I have a whole cupboard full of interesting packaging and boxes that I can't wait to do somthing fun with. I love to not only scrap alone, but to get together with my scrapping friends once or twice a month. My children love to recycle and have been helping us to set up a station in our basement. We are also planning to go a bit more green by getting some chickens soon and raising our own eggs. My children each have their own gardens and love to grow their own veggies.

Then about four years ago I stumbled across scrapbooking when I made a scrapbook of my wedding … I was instantly addicted! Then I started making altered items and making art from recycled items that would normally end up in the trash! Like CD’s, wooden blocks, candy tins anything is fair game! I am constantly inspired by my family, pets, other crafters blogs and everyday life! When I am not scrapbooking I love to spend time with my wonderful family, read, blog and play wii! I am honored to be part of the CREATIVELY GREEN DESIGN TEAM! And I love what they stand for! I think all scrapbooking companies should try to make their products eco-friendly! I look forward to getting to know all of you. As we share our love of scrapping, and make some beautiful "GREEN" creations along the way! Jackie is our design team coordinator and the moderator for our message board.
Hello and welcome! My name is Nicole an I am the owner and creator of Creatively Green, Art Supplies with a conscience. I have been crafting and scrapbooking since college, way back in the days of exacto knives and plain old scissors. To this day, I still have a hard time using a trimmer, I am so used to just "eyeing" it. I was born and raised in New Jersey- and yes I am true "jersey girl." My work has been published in magazines such as Memory Makers, Creating Keepsakes, Somerset Studios, as well as online magazines and publications.
I have been featured on Scrapscene as well as being published on Planet Green. I moved to Colorado in 2006, for a fresh start. I realized that I had more negative people in my life than positive ones and I wasnt living the life I had dreamed of. Crafting and creating has always been the way I relax. I am overjoyed in living in Colorado, I love everything about it ( I do sometimes miss the noise of a big city- and delivery everything!) but the fresh air, Im not giving up! Since moving to Colorado, I have found the joys of "being green". What better way than to combine my two loves crafting and recycling? I hope you find inspiration and enjoy this site as much I did creating it, its like another child to me. Keep creating GREEN!
Hi - My name is Jennifer Hansen and I live in Indianola, a smallish town in Central Iowa, known for its hot air balloons. On my bucket list is to go up in one someday. I am married and have two children, Parker 8 and Emma 6. My daughter already loves to scrapbook and craft, so that makes me smile! They of course are usually the focus of my layouts.I also love to make cards, mini albums and alter just about anything I can get my hands on. On one project I reused juice cans to create storage containers for pens.
I do scrapbooking the most, but have recently starting making, cards, altered art and mini albums. I get my inspiration from anywhere and everywhere. It could be from a color combination that I saw on a shirt at the store, magazine ads, other art work, or something one of my kids did or said. I scrap because of my kids and for my kids. I want them to have memories and be able to share those memories with their families one day. It is important for us to preserve the world the way we knew it for future generations. Even the littlest things can make a huge difference if everyone did them and with the economy the way it is, going “green” can save lots of money. It is what inspired me to start being a little more aware with my scrapbooking supplies, cause let’s face it, they are not cheap. I am so excited to be a part of this new team and look forward to getting to know you.
Hello everyone. My name is Nicole, I am 26 years old, and I live in Chattanooga, Tennessee with my husband, Linton, and our 2 crazy munchkins. Braden will be 4 in December and Mackenzie is almost 7. I am currently a stay-at-home mom and full-time student. I have always loved doing crafty things. I mean hey, I took Basket Weaving in high school. You may laugh, but really…I did, and it was cool. I have recently been published on an online magazine, Ella Publishing.

Hi! I am Amy Duff. I am an avid card maker, altered artist, Mom to one, and friend to all. Virginia is my native state and where I currently reside. I enjoy the four seasons we experience yearly and access to the ocean and mountains. Such rich resources! I am engaged to a fabulous Brit named Simon who has a lovely son. One of my favorite things to do is "repurpose" items when I create. Yep, I am that person that sees someones trash as treasure. In a recent magazine, Simply Handmade, I had two projects that were featured in the "recycled" section.
I try to restrain myself from collecting everything but let me say, I do see that most items can serve another purpose than perhaps intended. I love being green because it not only provides me with a completely "new" item it also is a creative outlet. As I age, I find I want less material goods and more memories. I adore items that share memories from moments in my life. I find all the packaging used for products resourceful and constantly fill my pockets with twisties from toys, buttons from clothes, and lots of tags! Have you seen the cool tags on some of the clothes and shoes these days? I have a teenage daughter so clothes are a constant requirement these days. It is so important to me to be green for many reasons. Our planet, our futures, economic reasons, and it is extremely resourceful! I am thrilled to be a part of Creatively Green's design team. I look forward to creating and sharing ideas with the team and custumers!
Hi! I’m Ali, an RN (presently writing freelance) married to my “tag-team partner” Peter, who is a member of the Canadian Forces. We are blessed with 4 kids, ages 7 to 15 yrs., and live in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia, Canada. I took my ONLY scapbooking class in 2002. An eye-opener! I’d been scrapping, self-taught, for months-- without a trimmer! After that class, I realized that I could combine my passions: writing, photos and paper. I know I’ll never be “caught up“ in scrappin’ the stories of this family, and that’s OK. It’s all about the creative process.
That I can CREATE GREEN is the best part! I’m working toward being as green as possible in this craft. After all, we have a world to love—why not be sure it’s still green for our families and their children’s children to enjoy? My favourite scrappy techniques are designing pages that use button clusters, appliquéing fabric trimmed from vintage clothing and “sewing on paper.” All that texture looks and feels incredible! Creating with the products found here at Creatively Green Scrapbook Store will help this lifelong-learning junkie absorb even more about creating “green” and stretching in new ways to create pages and tell my storiesI love each moment of my (messy) creative process, and feel SO honoured to be a part of the Design Team here at Creatively Green!
This carries over into my scrapbooking as well. I love to use clothing tags, tickets, paint swatches, etc... for embellishments. I am always looking for household items that I can use on my designs. Another important reason for me to recycle is my love for nature and the outdoors. I was raised, and still live in, a very rural community that is home to several county and state parks. I have visited these since a very young child and my parents installed in me a respect for nature and our environment. Any way that I can help preserve mother nature is a plus for me! I am an avid animal lover as well and know that being green and helping our wildlife goes hand in hand. I am so excited to be part of the Creatively Green design team!
Hi! My name is Marcie Morgan and I am a SAHM to three kids ranging in ages from nine to soon to be sixteen. I have been married to my dh for ten years and we live in an older historical home in a small town in Illinois. We also share our home with six cats and two dogs! Being a mother of three children, I am always looking for ways to re-use things and re-cycle. Being green is important to me for several reasons. One is the fact that I am always trying to save money and find multiple uses for items and re-use things in new ways.
